Slack, Bounce & Connect: Easter Vibes at Teufelsberg

On Good Friday, a group of around 20 highliners and friends gathered at Teufelsberg for a beautiful day together. Experienced riggers, alongside motivated beginners and supporters, set up two highlines between the buildings, as well as a short slackline close to the ground. A special highlight was the bungee line – a trampoline-like system that attracted both curious onlookers and playful acrobats.

The idea was not only to train and connect, but also to bring the sport closer to the public. Everyone was welcome to watch, ask questions, and even give it a try. Despite the icy wind, the day was a great success – and in the afternoon, the sun rewarded us with a bit of warmth.

For us as a slackline community, sharing is at the heart of everything: experience, advice, encouragement, emotions, and food. That’s what makes it so special. No matter who you are or where you come from – just show up, join in, and become part of it.

This spirit is even reflected in the wall behind the highlines, painted with a beautiful image and the bold message: Fuck Your Borders. Let’s use the lines, and the community, to (re)connect and move beyond borders, fences, and limitations – in our minds and actions. Stepping onto the line with courage, playfulness, and a lot of love – for the people, the sport, and the community.
